Active East Devon
Active East Devon is a “Community Sports and Physical Activity Partnership” that is being developed to cover the East Devon area Active Devon is a similar (County Sports Partnership) organisation that covers Devon as a whole.
Active East Devon is a multi-agency organisation which tries to enable and promote effective and widespread physical activity in all parts of our district, and ensure others are aware of our needs.
It does not have its own funding but especially tries to join up such resources as already exist, and find ways to fill ‘gaps’.
It tries to help and engage local sports and physical activity organisations to deliver locally. These may for instance include schools, outdoor pursuit groups, dance organisations, gardening organisations, or groups engaged in children’s play.

East Devon Play Network
The East Devon Play Network is a group of professionals who have an interest or background within Playwork.
The Network aims to advertise play events and good work happening within our local communities, sharing good practice and new initiatives and pinpointing possible funds that may be available.
