We only have allotments in Sidmouth.

There are four sites in the town:

  • Lawn Vista
  • Lymebourne Lane
  • Peaslands (West Park Road)
  • Moorview Close

These allotments are non-statutory, or temporary, and are not covered by the Allotments Acts 1908 - 1950.

Charges for 1 October 2023 to 30 September 2024 are £9.53 per 25 square metres plus a variable charge for water depending on size of plot ( the cost is between £6.30 - £22.00).

Charges for 1 October 2024 to 30 September 2025 are £9.82 square metres plus a variable charge for water depending on size of plot ( the cost is between £6.30 - £22.00).

There is at least a six year waiting list for these allotments.

Most other allotments in East Devon are managed by private allotment associations or the local town or parish council.
