How much benefit will I get?

Our on-line benefits calculator will give you an estimate of the amount you could receive. Before you use it, please read the following:

  • If you are a private tenant, the amount of Housing Benefit you get will depend on the Local Housing Allowance (LHA) for the area you live in. Find out your LHA rate, and then enter it in the fourth box under Step 1. Make sure you enter a weekly amount.
  • If you have other adults living with you, you must complete Step 12.
  • Remember to include any benefit or allowance you are entitled to receive, even if it is not being paid to you.
