eConsult will give you details of past, current and proposed consultations that have taken place in the district. If you want to know who is being consulted in East Devon and why, then eConsult is the easy way to find out.
The responses we get from our community consultations have provided a lot of information about the views, priorities and experiences of local people. For example:
- Tenants feedback on their preferred option for the ownership and management of housing stock resulted in our continued ownership and management of our housing;
- A Customer Services Review in 2006 found that residents preferred to contact the Council by phone and they wanted a quick and effective response to their query. We have now introduced a Customer Service Centre providing a single point of contact so customers can now have multiple enquiries resolved by the same person.
eConsult will help you to find out what has happened as a result of your feedback. It will provide a brief summary of the results for each of our consultations and links to information on what we have done or will be doing as a result of your feedback.
We are developing eConsult to enable residents to give their views quickly and easily on-line. If you are interested in taking part in a future consultation you will be able to register your interest before the consultation starts. You will then be sent an electronic reminder when the consultation begins.
