Local Plan Research and Evidence Base

The Local Plan (2006 to 2026) process requires planning policies to be based on a thorough understanding of the needs, opportunities and constraints within the District.  To achieve this local planning authorities are required to prepare and maintain an up to date information base on key aspects of the social, economic and environmental characteristics of their area.

The Exmouth Waterfront Study Master Plan Report was published in January 2000 and develops an enhancement strategy for the estuary side and seafront within the context of a comprehensive master plan for the whole waterfront.
