Employment and Benefits

In recent years benefit services have changed. The current services now come under one organisation called the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). The services they provide include:

• Job Centre Plus (link to the right)
• The Pension Service
• Child Support Agency
• Child Benefit Centre
• Disability and Carers Service
• Appeals Service
• Independent Living Funds
• Welfare Rights
• Housing & Council Tax Benefits

East Devon District Council offer a council tax and housing benefit service of our own, and futher information can be found by selecting the 'Benefits' link on the right.
