Housing in the Private Sector

The Private Sector Housing team aims to ensure that all accommodation within the district is at a satisfactory standard. This includes accommodation which is owner-occupied, privately rented, or rented from a Registered Social Landlord (Housing Association) and can range from caravans to houses in multiple occupation.

We also deal with Disabled Facilities Grants and Housing Renewal Assistance and can offer advice on energy conservation and Empty Homes.
