Council’s Gambling Licensing Policy (Statement of Principles)
Licensing authorities are required to prepare and publish, every three years, a statement of the principles that they propose to apply when exercising their functions. In preparing such a statement, licensing authorities must follow the procedure set out in the Act as well as the accompanying guidance. The District Council’s draft Gambling Licensing Policy was made available for consultation between the 13 July and 5 October 2006. Following careful consideration of the consultation comments made on the draft policy the final version was approved by the full Council on Wednesday 6 December 2006.
