Charitable Street Collections
Anyone wishing to make a street collection in East Devon must apply to the Council for a Street Collection Permit.
You should first telephone the Licensing Officer on 01395 517411 to check that your chosen date is still available for the town/area you wish to collect. A provisional booking will be made and the application form sent to you. It is Council policy to normally allow only one collection in each week in a location/town.
Applications must be received at least 28 days prior to the collection date.
A return (schedule - form of statement) must be made to the Council within one month of the collection giving a certified account of all monies raised.
