Battery Recycling
East Devon residents are taking part in the largest ever battery recycling operation in the UK. All homes in the district can take part in the scheme using special collection bags.
The bags display which types of household batteries can be recycled. You can recycle the following types: 6V, D, C, AA, AAA, 9V and button batteries. We also accept laptop and mobile phone batteries.
Full bags should be left in the green box for kerbside collection. If you would like to take part but do not have any collection bags please contact us.
Note: Please take car or other vehicle batteries to your local household waste recycling centre.
