Commercial Waste
Collections
The council does not provide a commercial waste collection service. If you want to have commercial waste collected, you need to contact a private contractor, e.g. through the Yellow Pages or other directories.
The cost of collection and disposal of commercial waste is not included in the business rates.
Premises which contain both domestic and business accommodation are entitled to collection of up to two standard dustbins (equivalent to approximately 4 typical plastic refuse sacks) of household waste at no charge.
You will be charged for any additional waste.
Disposal
Devon County Council disposes of commercial waste through its civic amenity sites. For further information, please contact DCC's Waste Management Team on (01392) 382846.
You could also contact a private contractor through the Yellow Pages or other directories.
Fly tipping is illegal and the offence carries heavy fines and a criminal record.
