Emptying Dog Waste Bins
There are over 100 dog waste bins in East Devon. Each one is emptied three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. If, however, you find a full one, please contact us using the details above and we will arrange to have it emptied. However, if the bin is due to be emptied within 24 hours, we will not usually be able to empty it before the next scheduled visit.
Dog Fouling in Parks
If you find grass or pavements covered with dog fouling, please contact us using the details above and we will arrange for a prompt clean up.
I would like to request a dog waste bin to be put in/on the park/street near my home can you arrange this?
A request for a new dog waste bin should be put to your local Councillor who will make a bid for this on your behalf. Your Councillor will put forward your bid on a once a year basis.
Can I pay for a new dog waste bin myself?
Local organisations, rather than individuals, may sponsor a dog waste bin if they wish. Remember, though, after the initial cost of the bin, currently around £250 to buy, the annual maintenance (ie to have the bin emptied) will be ongoing and will cost about £150 per year.
