Loans for voluntary organisations

Several organisations have loans available at special rates or even interest free to voluntary and community organisations. Some of these are listed below:

Interest Free Loans  Futurebuilders have interest free three years loans available of between £3,000 and £50,000. These are for community and voluntary sector organisations who need relatively small sums of money to help them tender successfully for specific public service contracts.  For more information call 0191 2615200 or e-mail info@futurebuilders-england.org.uk

Charities Action Fund  The Charities Action Fund provides loans to charities and other social enterprises to fill the gap between grants and other social enterprises. Support ranges from £20,000 to £350,000. For more information: www.cafonline.org

Charity Bank  The Charity Bank works with local charities, social enterprises and community organisations to provide loans of up to £1million. For more information: www.charitybank.org
