Beaches - Seaton

The beach is formed by a large expanse of pebbles. It is backed by steep cliffs to the western end. An esplanade to the western end affords easy access along its length with a cafe and facilities at the end.

Lifeguard:

There is no lifeguard facilities at this beach.

Emergency Facilities:

There is a first aid post at the beach during the summer. There is an emergency phones at the East end of the esplanade. Fast currents flow out to sea where the river Axe meets the sea. Beware of boat traffic near harbour entrance.

Cleaning:

Cleaned manually  on a daily basis during the summer, monthly in winter. Dog bins provided and dogs are welcome all year on parts of the beach but are only allowed on the main beach from October to April.

Facilities:

Toilets are available including facilities for disabled people. Cafes, restaurants and shops are located near to the beach. A slipway provides boat access.

Activities:

Swimming, sailing, windsurfing and fishing.
