Boat Moorings

The Council administers the licensing of boat parking on its beaches at Shelly Beach Exmouth, Budleigh Salterton, Sidmouth, Seaton and Beer. The number of parking spaces is limited at each beach.
To apply to be placed on the Council’s waiting list or for a space (if available) either apply in writing to the Property Services Team giving details of the boat, name, address and contact telephone number, or alternatively lodge your request by e-mail to the address above.
Deep water moorings and drying moorings on the River Exe are administered on the Council’s behalf by the Lower Exe Mooring Authority Management Committee by contacting the Secretary, Christine Rogers at ‘Cranleigh’, 206 Exeter Road, Exmouth, EX8 3LT, tel. 01395 263065.
Moorings at Axmouth harbour are administered on the Council’s behalf by Axmouth Harbour Management Co. Ltd., Salcombe House, Fore Street, Seaton, Devon, EX12 2LE.
