Joining the Junior Rangers

Seaton Marshes Junior Rangers club is for anyone aged 5 to 15 who is interested in getting more involved with the nature reserve. How much you get involved is up to you!

A regular newsletter, Marshes Mirror keeps you in touch with what’s going on at Seaton Marshes, and events take place throughout the year helping you to learn a little more about the LNR and get VIP ‘behind the scenes’ tours. Junior Rangers events include bird watching, dragonfly hunting and otter spotting.

You also get a Junior Rangers Club card, which you must bring to all Junior Rangers events as the events are only open to members of the club. And finally you get an official Junior Rangers certificate to put on your wall.

The Junior Rangers Club is absolutely free to join for any child living in East Devon. Send your name, age and address to jchubb@eastdevon.gov.uk and a Junior Rangers Pack will be put in the post.

For the Parents

The Junior Rangers club is organised by East Devon District Council's Education Ranger, as a safe and cheap way of children across the district exploring the countryside. Events focus on having fun and enjoying the countryside but also have a strong educational content.
