East Devon - Employment Land Availability Study
In 2006 East Devon District Council commissioned Atkins to undertake an employment land review. The work Atkins have undertaken splits into two parts: a) The first part is a review of the existing employment sites in the District. b) The second part is an assessment of the likely nature of future economic activity in the District and derived from this is an assessment of projected future employment land requirements.
The Atkins report was endorsed by the Council in March 2008 and as a follow on to the Atkins work the Council will be consulting on more detailed site evaluation work in the Summer of 2008 as part of the annual employment land monitoring assessment.
