| 5 | The Chairman to present the awards for the Best Kept Village Competition 2007 Baker Cup - awarded to East Budleigh with Bicton as the village in East Devon which scored the highest number of points after Kilmington, winner of the Devon-wide Best Kept Village award in the large village cateorgy. EDDC Certificate to Sidbury, Upottery and Dunkeswell as runners up within East Devon in the large villages category Glanvill Cup - awarded to Offwell as the village scoring the highest number of points in East Devon in the small village category EDDC Certificate to Branscombe as the runner up within East Devon in the small village category |
| 6 | The Chairman to present Long Service Awards to East Devon District Council staff |

| 10 | Committee membeship - revised appointments requested Corporate Overview to replace Councillor Mrs B Taylor with another Member on this Committee. Councillor G P Chamberlain has been nominated. Development Control to replace Councillor S Wragg with another Member on this Committee. Councllor T A Cope has been nominated. |
| 11 | Committee Membership - Joint Bodies Sidmouth Traffic Group To appoint 3 Members to this Group which discusses all traffic related issues int he town (including Sidford and Sidbury), meeting 3 times a year. Although this group does not have a formal consitution, it includes key local membes representing County, District (3) and Town (3) and is chaired by the County Councillor for Sidbury. Councillors Mrs C E Drew, Mrs F I Newth and G M Troman have been nominated. |
| 12 | Independent Remuneration Panel - membership To consider appointing two new members to the Independent Remuneration Panel, and , if agreed, to consider how these will be recruited to ensure true independence. |

| 14 | Application to renew S30 Powers to Disperse - Exmouth Town Centre a) to consider the request from the Devon and Cornwall Constabulary for the Council's consent to renew the Dispersal Zone in Exmouth Town Centre (copy of letter attached) with effect from 28 October 2007 b) to give the Chief Executive delegated powers to agree future requests for renewal of S30 Orders until circumstances change |
| 15 | Up date on Cranbrook The Head of Planning and Countryside to up-date Members on issues relating to the new Community, Cranbrook. |
Members of the public are welcome to attend this meeting when items listed under Part A of the agenda are being considered. For the benefit of Councillors and members of the public a hearing loop system will be in operation in the Council Chamber.
