Licensing and Enforcement Committee
What does this committee do?
This committee undertakes licensing and enforcement functions relating to Liquor licensing including personal and premises licensing, Hackney Carriage and private hire vehicles, gaming, entertainment, food and miscellaneous licensing.

Meetings
The Licensing and Enforcement Committee is scheduled to meet bi-monthly, as necessary, usually on a Monday at 9.30am. Meetings are held in the Council Chamber, Knowle, Sidmouth. the public are welcome to attend.

The Licensing and Enforcement Sub Committees A & B determine applications in respect of liquor licensing and include personal and premises licences in relation to the Licensing Act 2003. The Sub Committees will also determine public entertainment, hackney carriage and private hire licence applications.
