Direct debit

Over 70% of our council tax payers choose Direct Debit because:

  • it saves time and hassle
  • it is the most cost effective way to pay
  • you can pay by up to ten monthly instalments or two half-yearly instalments
  • there is a choice of three payment dates, the 1st, the 17th or the 25th of the month
  • the Direct Debit Guarantee scheme. means that you are always in control of your money

If you would like to change to Direct Debit, please call us on 01395 517446 and we will simply take the details over the phone. Alternatively,  we have PDF file a direct debit mandate (72KB - 10 June 2010 - PDF Help) ready for you to print out. Once the form is displayed, press print on your browser. Then press the back button on your browser to return to this page. Simply fill in the form (don't forget to sign it!), send it to the address shown and we will do the rest.
