Local Development Framework Evidence Base
The Council has assembled a range of information to inform the preparation of its Local Development Framework. A large number of documents form part of our evidence base. They are available to download from the links on the right of this page.
The Local Development Framework (LDF) process requires planning policies to be based on a thorough understanding of the needs, opportunities and constraints within the District. To achieve this local planning authorities are required to prepare and maintain an up-to-date information base on key aspects of the social, economic and environmental characteristics of their area.
