Problem Premises (Licensed)
If you live or run a business near premises licensed under the Licensing Act 2003 which are causing certain problems, for example public nuisance, you can ask the Council to review the terms of the licence, including the hours. Please see our Premises Review page for further details, or contact the Licensing Helpline 01395 517410 during normal working hours.
If premises are causing very serious problems, then the police have the power to shut them down temporarily while a Magistrates’ Court decides whether they should reopen. The police contact number is 08452 777444.
