Property Services is a multi disciplinary team of professionals dealing with all aspects of property matters relating to non-housing buildings and sites.
The range of properties includes sports centres and other leisure facilities, industrial units, managed offices, town halls, various administrative centres, cafes, beach huts and public toilets.
The team deals with:
- Planned and reactive maintenance, including annual maintenance contracts Acquisition and disposal of Council land and buildings
- Asbestos management
- Fire risk assessments
- DDA (Disability Discrimination Act) Audits and improvements
- Legionella monitoring
- Leases, licences & concessions
- Building design and feasibility schemes
- Building extensions, refurbishments and alterations, including contract management
- Facilities management
- In-house maintenance Work, including redecoration, carpentry and plumbing by a dedicated team of maintenance technicians
- Licences for boats and winches at various beach sites
