Public Toilets
East Devon District Council is responsible for 38 public conveniences, some of which are managed in partnership with town or parish councils. The standards of cleanliness are high and this is maintained by a cleaning schedule for the main towns of four times a day in summer and twice a day in winter. All other areas are serviced once a day throughout the year.
Unfortunately there will be occasions when the facilities are targetted by antisocial behaviour and in these instances, the Council will aim to repair any damage as soon as possible and with minimial inconvenience to the public.
If you do find any faults during your visit to one of our facilities, please report it as soon as possible using the contact details above or those displayed on the notice on the outside of the public conveniences themselves. Should you witness any vandalism taking place, or any other suspicious behaviour, please dial 999 and ask for the Police immediately.
Disabled Facilities
The majority of East Devon's public conveniences have disabled facilities though to access these you may need a RADAR key. Please click here for further details on the RADAR key scheme
