Tenant and Resident Associations
E-mail tenantparticipation@eastdevon.gov.uk
Through associations tenants come together to take up issues of common concern relating to their housing, community and general environment. As a tenant you will automatically qualify for membership.
The associations enable tenants to have more say on housing and estate matters and to:
- help towards building a friendly, caring community
- exercise choice in how services are delivered, and
- to find out more about how we work
Some of the projects tackled by associations include landscaping of communal areas, securing a community meeting place, improving shared lighting, and fundraising for children’s play area.
We have associations in the following areas:
- Lymebourne & Arcot Park, Sidmouth
- Littleham, Exmouth
- Dray & Morgan Court, Exmouth
- St Gregorys & Meadway, Seaton
If you would like further details about any of the above groups, or if you would like to discuss setting up a tenants/residents association in your area, please contact Tenant Participation on 01395 517453.
