A meeting of the Scrutiny Committee will be held on the above date at 6.30 pm, in the Council Chamber, Sidmouth to consider the matters detailed on the agenda below.

| 3 | To consider any items which in the opinion of the Chairman, should be dealt with as matters of urgency because of special circumstances. (Note: such circumstances need to be recorded in the minutes; any Member wishing to raise a matter under this item is requested to notify the Chief Executive in advance of the meeting.) |

| 9 | Effective action on Anti-Social Behaviour Task & Finish Forum (including clean Neighbourhoods and Environment Act 2005) - to confirm the membership of Councillors Mrs K J Bamsey, T A Cope, Mrs C E Drew, A R Giles and Mrs A E Liverton. The remit of the Committee as previously agreed, is "to make recommendations on an effective integrated appraoch to using the new poweres in the Clean Neighbourhoods and Environment Act and existing anti-social powers, in the light of responses reeived from town and Parish Councils on community priorities". |

Members of the public are welcome to attend this meeting when items listed under Part A of the agenda are being considered. For the benefit of Councillors and members of the public a hearing loop system will be in operation in the Council Chamber.
