If you wish to propose housing allocations through the new Local Plan consultation you are advised to make a submission using the following form by 5.00 p.m. on 31st January 2012.

SHLAA Assessments

The second Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment (SHLAA) has been completed and may be viewed here PDF file SHLAA Report February 2011 (1077KB - 03 March 2011 - PDF Help).  Please note that many of the sites considered in the first SHLAA have not been put forward for consideration in the SHLAA review. Sites submitted for consideration may be viewed by visiting the SHLAA interactive map .

The SHLAA is a technical document that helps to identify a supply of potentially suitable sites for housing and its preparation is a Government requirement.  The SHLAA forms an important part of the evidence base supporting the preparation of documents under the Local Development Framework. Inclusion of a site in the final SHLAA does not indicate that a site will be granted planning permission or allocated for development through the Local Development Framework.
