Streetscene are responsible for replacing damaged or worn street name plates on designated public highways. We endeavour to have damaged ones replaced within 6-8 weeks of them being reported to us. To report a damaged or missing street name plate, please complete our online form.

We install as many as possible on buildings or walls rather than on posts; as this is more aesthetically pleasing, cheaper and wall-mounted signs are less prone to damage. However, we do allow property owners to decide on the installation method we use. Please contact Streetscene for further information on this.

EDDC are not responsiblefor replacing street name plates on private unadopted roads or private housing areas; this is the responsibility of the landowner (often the residents themselves or a housing developer). However, we are able to supply and install street name plates at cost on behalf of landowners
