Street Trading and House to House Collections

House to House Collections

The council licenses people to make house-to-house collections.  You can find out how to go about getting a licence from the house to house collections page.

If you have a Home Office Exemption, you don't need to apply locally but you still have to let us know to check that the time and place you want to collect are available.  Please refer to the house-to-house collections page for further information.

Street Collections

If you want to organise a street collection, you need to contact us for a street collection permit.  Before applying, you should contact us to check that the time and place is available.  Please refer to the street collections page for further information.

Licences for charitable collections are run by the council's Licensing Team.

Street Trading

There are only certain streets in East Devon where street trading is permitted.

Please refer to the street trading page for further information.
