Omicron Hospitality and Leisure Grant (OHLG)
Recognising that the rise of the Omicron variant means some businesses are likely to struggle over the coming weeks, the Government announced on 21 December 2021 that they will be providing one-off grants of up to £6,000 per premises for businesses in the hospitality and leisure sectors in England.
|Value of grant available||£2,667||£4,000||£6,000|
Recipients must be solvent businesses, and ratepayers in the hospitality, leisure and accommodation sectors. For example, a pub, hotel, restaurant, bar, cinema or amusement park.
The Government has recently issued Omicron Hospitality and Leisure Grant Guidance which includes some examples (on page 18) of the types of businesses that are eligible under this scheme.
