3. Sustainability Appraisal (SA)
The Local Plan and its developing and evolving strategy and policy choices will need to be informed by ongoing Sustainability Appraisal work.
The start of this involves producing and consulting on a Sustainability Appraisal Scoping Report – this forms a baseline assessment of what East Devon is like now against which emerging policy choices can be considered.
Please note: The consultation on the Sustainability Appraisal scoping report closed on the 15th of March 2021.
